History

The companies comprising the JACOBS FINANCIAL GROUP were created to focus on the needs of the coal industry, from investment management services to reclamation bonds. The companies were founded from the vision and experience of John M. Jacobs, a certified public accountant and investment advisor. Mr. Jacobs began working with coal companies in 1975 with his father’s accounting firm in Montgomery, West Virginia. From that solid foundation, Mr. Jacobs has assembled the innovative JACOBS FINANCIAL GROUP to serve the coal industry.
